Don't think that the library is just for books! The Billings Public Library is a great place for classes and seminars about various topics in the community. Currently there is a series running called 'Lunch and Learn'.  It's exactly like it sounds. There will be a speaker during the Noon lunch hour and you are invited to bring your lunch and have a listen! Here is the info on the upcoming talk.

WHEN: Wednesday, June 15th @ 12:00PM
WHERE: Billings Public Library, Community Room
WHAT: Guest speaker, Becky Bey, from The Regional Family Matters Advisory Council will speak on the topic 'The Culture of Poverty'.

"Based on the teachings of Dr. Ruby Payne, this presentation will provide an overview of the hidden rules of economic class and the impact these have on the ability to effectively communicate with, and proficiently serve, people from differing economic cultures.  Participants will leave with a better understanding of the barriers to overcoming poverty and will explore a few ideas for overcoming those barriers."
