I’m the Naughty Neighbor Over this Dog Debacle in Billings
I was the naughty neighbor on accident, I swear.
I’ve lived in Billings for about 3 months now, and we just met our neighbors in the most organic way possible. But also, chaotic and awful. Our garage door opener has been a pill to deal with. It won’t shut all the way when we are leaving, and it’s become an issue as of this week.
My dogs ran amuck in our west side, Billings neighborhood.
We have three gorgeous pups. Pipsqueak, Charlie, and Peanut. Pip is a Manchester Terrier, Charlie is a Border Collie-German Shepherd Mix, and Peanut is Pekinese. They're all incredibly smart and loyal. But they're also escape artists. My guy and I went to run some errands last Saturday and were gone for about 2 hours. When we came home, our garage was open and our dogs were galivanting around, happy to see us. Uh oh...
My lovely neighbor, who I now know because of this ordeal, is an angel on earth.
Sarah is her name and I've never met her until this happened. She let me know on Facebook that my dogs were running around in our front yard. She mentioned it’s not something we usually let happen. And boy was she right! Our dogs bark at each other through the fence. Every. Single. Day. They're loud and annoying and I try to keep my lovely idiots from rushing Sarah's fence.
Sarah deserves an award for neighbor of the year.
I feel SO bad after getting her message. I received it FOUR days late.😐 Note the times and date on the Facebook message. UGH! Now that I’m aware of my garage door problem, this will never happen again. I'm a huge advocate about keeping leashes on dogs. And I’m quite embarrassed about this whole thing.
Sarah, if you’re reading this, THANK YOU! I appreciate you and I’ll be getting you a gift for being an angel in our life.
