KCTR Newroom - Lockwood is one step closer to having its own high school. A bill that would allow Lockwood voters to create a high school district was passed by the Montana House on Wednesday. By a nearly-unanimous 97-3 margin, Senate Bill 139 is now headed to Gov. Steve Bullock’s desk. Some Montana K-8 school districts could vote to expand to a high school district.
