R-Rated Fortune Cookie Mishap: Outrage And Laughter

This would make for a memorable Valentine's Day dinner. The situation was most definitely not a prediction they saw coming. What should have been boxes of good fortunes or sweet little messages of hope quickly took a turn to the wild side when some R-Rated Fortune Cookies got sent to the wrong Restaurants!

Here is what happened.  A fortune cookie company caught some massive heat after they accidentally sent a bunch of very R-RATED fortune cookies to the wrong restaurants.  A Vietnamese place in Australia had originally ordered them, but other unsuspecting restaurants received them instead.

Customers love it. So, they recently ordered a whole new batch for Valentine's Day!  But the fortune cookie company made a BIG mistake. They got the messages correct but accidentally shipped them out to OTHER RESTAURANTS that had purchased the normal fortune cookies.

Naturally the people who got the fortunes were "quite upset." What did they little cookies hidden messages say?  Well, here are types of things they got when they cracked open those little nuggets of good fortune.

Alot but not all of them were "dirty".  One of the less than sweet cookies said, "You are capable of great things.  But all you do [is] look at your phone all day.  You won't be that great.  Sorry." Ummmm ok. Super not on the nice side of things.

Yet there one that WAS pretty off-putting to say the least.  It said, "The year of the Snake bears good fortune!  Your DIVORCE is coming soon."  Then it ended by saying that their spouse "only married you for your money, you ugly...(word is too dirty to say but you get the idea.)

The restaurant had no idea that they had ordered these until they got an email from the company that basically said hey just dropping you a letter to let you know we won't be doing swear words anymore. Can you imagine the confusion! Swear words? What do you mean? We only order positive messages in our cookies! Turns out you don't.

The restaurant owner went on to say it was their mistake, and most defiantly not hers.  They said moving forward they're not taking any chances.  They'll still do silly messages, or even sort of rude ones.  Just absolutely no profanity.  Given that's what really got people upset. Needless to say, no fortune cookie could have predicted this one coming!
