Top Signs Of Burnout: Are You Ready For A Much-Needed Montana Getaway?
Do you need to run away from being an adult and the nonstop hustle of everyday life? Are you feeling all the signs that you are burning the candle at both ends?
If so, you are not alone! A new list from the NY Post broke down the top signs you need a vacation. It includes feeling burnt out, daydreaming about a trip, a short fuse leading to getting irritated with others. That is never a good thing. Never ever.
Believe it or not, we are less than 100 days into 2025 so far, with a good chunk of those days being workdays. I bet a lot of us are already starting to feel it and are planning vacations and or just random days off to just hit the reset button.
So that raises a question....
How many days do you HAVE to work before you "need" a vacation? According to a new survey, these are the "top signs people need a vacation"
1. Feeling burnt out.
2. Daydreaming about a trip.
3. Getting irritated with others.
4. Feeling fatigued no matter how much you sleep.
5. Having low energy, even on weekends.

6. Feeling brain fog.
7. Completely forgetting tasks.
8. Misplacing items and forgetting important items.
9. Making mistakes at work. Big and small.
10. Checking emails even when you're off the clock. Guilty. Right here. VERY guilty of this.
If that isn't relatable enough, the survey also has a list of the 10 "most forgotten items when packing for a trip."
The most common response was Phone charger, Toothbrush and toothpaste, headphones / earbuds, sunglasses, sunscreen, body care products, power adapter, hairbrush, skincare products, and hand sanitizer. Oddly enough that is the very same list of all the things we use most every day, yet they are the items we forget. In our defense a sign you need a vaca is misplacing and forgetting things. Refer to the list # 8.
Point being take some time for you. Slow down. Plan that trip. Rest and restart. The good news for us kids here in Montana is we can pack up and head in any direction and be on a small vacation. Red Lodge, Bozeman, Yellowstone River, Yellowstone Park, Hot Springs, the list goes on and on. Take some time and enjoy the great outdoors and avoid a burnout!
