‘Zeus’ Has Been in the Billings Shelter Far Too Long. Adopt Him?

Some dogs spent very little time at Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter.

Puppies typically get adopted quickly, as do smaller dogs and "popular" breeds. Other dogs spend far too long waiting for adoption. Older dogs, like last week's featured Wet Nose Wednesday dog may take longer to find their forever home. Today's featured pet, Zeus, has been at the shelter for over 40 days. FORTY DAYS!!

About Zeus.

He's treat-motivated (aren't they all?), making training a breeze. He eagerly responds to positive reinforcement and reward-based training methods. Zeus would benefit from an experienced owner who can provide consistent leadership and guidance. Someone familiar with the traits and personality of a Doberman would be ideal. Mature children (or none) in the household would be ideal and he doesn't seem to love cats.
