‘Dunkaroo’ is Better Than Any Cookie. Adopt Him Today at YVAS

Adopt Dunkaroo at Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter today.

If you are looking for a calm dog, look no further than Billings' Featured Wet Nose Wednesday Pet of the Week. His name is Dunkaroo and he is incredibly sweet. This dog is SO relaxed, we found it hard to believe he's essentially a puppy (the shelter estimates him to be about a year old or less).

He's a compact Collie mix.

Dunkaroo has some border collie in his DNA. His semi-curly coat leads us to believe there might be some Doodle in there somewhere too. Derek Wulf, Humane Outreach Coordinator at Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter said Dunkaroo has been at the shelter for about a month now, and we're all shocked that he hasn't been adopted sooner.

No joke, this dog is the absolute sweetest. He weighs about 30 pounds and is on the smallish size, about two feet tall. His fur was a little damp from frolicking in the snow before he arrived at our studios Wednesday morning. Wulf said he's never heard Dunkaroo bark, he's a gentle walker and gets along well with other dogs. Cats, maybe not so much.
