A recent poll asked people what their ideal work week would be. We all heard coworkers say they "just want to get the workweek over ASAP."  But they probably didn't mean all at once . . . right? Well, some people would in fact just like to get it all over as fast as possible.

Those people are nuts. We have to pull over and rest here and there. Most people would agree with that, but a good number of people say no way I am going to rock it till the wheels fall off from lack of sleep.

Here is what the very scientific and fact driven poll found:

* 26% said the typical set-up:  Five 8-hour workdays. - This has worked so well for so long why change it now?

* 40% said they'd like an extra day off, so pulling the ole Four 10-hour days. This doable as you would be super excited to have three day weekends every week.

* 15% said they'd like two extra days off and could do:  Three 13-hour days.

*13% said they'd like SHORTER shifts:  Six 6-hour days. If you do the math that is not 40 hours. It might have to be six 6-hour and 40-minute works days.

And then here were a few people who wanted to go more extreme. These are they crazy ones and are taking this way too far.

*2% of people said they'd prefer to do two 20-hour workdays. ARE YOU NUTS?!

And now for the kicker.... another 4% would want to do just ONE shift . . . working 40 hours straight. Yeah, ok that sounds like a great idea. Maybe these people who said this would be the perfect shift were joking around. Most normal jobs this would not be a thing. We have to have a balance when it comes to work life and your daily life.
