Is MT Management Overlooking Employee Contributions In The Workplace?
Does Your Boss Understand What You Do? You clock in every single day and do what you are suppose to do BUT does your boss truly understand what you do day in and day out? Looks like a bunch of them actually don't! 46% Say No my leader has no idea what I do!
Picture this how fun would it be to quiz your boss about all things you do and quiz them on it! Then grade their answers. Do you think your boss actually understands what you do in a typical day? Nearly half of us say no they in fact have no idea what I do around here.
A good chunk of people in a new poll by PR NEWSWIRE said their boss or manager "rarely" or only "somewhat" understands their contributions at work. 46% of people feel this way. Nearly half.
While 44% of employees say they've been overlooked for raises, promotions, or special projects because management doesn't really get their skillsets. That jumps to 62% for Gen Z'ers. That is the worst but unfortunately it happens.
Next up is 48% think their contributions are consistently undervalued by leadership. And 43% say they get feedback from their boss that doesn't really line up with the work they've done.
Maybe a good fix to this would be to practice your communication skills with you fearless leaders and speak up! Some people will stay in a job instead of looking for a new one just due to the fact that here in Montana it can be hard to find work especially if you work in certain fields. Kind of narrows down the market.
Take a look at Montana's Economy stats and HERE and may see why being an adult with a job ( JOB stands for Just Over Broke) is so hard.
There for sometimes we have to either get another job to survive or get crafty on how we can make some extra cash. Adulting do not recommend 0 out of 5 strs. It is a trap. But here we are doing it every single day!
