Are you a cat person or a dog person?

You know what? It's okay to be both. My family admittedly leans more toward dogs; we have three lovable goofballs in our household. But we also have a cat, and despite my best efforts to ignore her, she's decided that I'm "her person." She can't wait to cuddle up on my lap at the end of the day, and she's always sitting patiently right outside our bedroom door for me in the morning.

Emma Kitty is also a great mouser and has delivered surprises into our house more than once. Most recently it was a bird that was still very much alive. She dropped the shimmery, black starling on the couch where it promptly started flying all over our house, bonking into windows. My wife and kids were screaming and the dogs were going nuts too. Good times.

Meet Blueberry, our featured Wet Nose Wednesday Pet of the Week.

Blueberry is an 11-month-old domestic short-haired cat. The curious, playful kitty explored every inch of our studios during her visit to the 23rd Floor today. She's a bit of a miracle kitten. Her pregnant mom was abandoned at the front door of the Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter. Blueberry was the only kitten of the litter to survive and she's ready for her forever home today at YVAS.
