Do you love large-breed dogs?

Charlie is an 18-month-old Great Dane mix.

This happy-go-lucky dog arrived at the shelter as a stray about a week ago. We can't imagine why his human(s) didn't contact the shelter when they realized he went missing. He appears to be well cared for. With some extra kibble and a bath, we think Charlie will quickly become even more handsome than he already is.

Big dogs can have so much personality.

Charlie LOVES people, playtime, and treats. He's a gentle giant and would likely do well with respectful children. Standing over 3 feet at the shoulder with paws as large as my hand, he doesn't seem to realize his size. For that reason alone, he might inadvertently knock over a toddler.

Cat tats? Dog ink?

If you love tattoos as much as you love pets, Forget Me Not Tattoo in Billings is hosting an awesome fundraiser for Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter on July 7. You can get a beautiful, animal-themed tattoo from a selection of pre-drawn flash designs. It's first come, first served, so be sure to arrive early. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to YVAS.

The 8 Smells Montana Mosquitoes Hate The Most

Mosquito season is here and if you want to avoid Montana's most annoying pest, try wearing these 8 scents, which you can find just about anywhere.

Most of these can be found at your local grocery store.

Why do mosquitoes hate these scents so much? Most of them mess with the mosquito's sensory gland in its nose, which helps drive the pest off.
