What does mom want for Mother's Day? Answer is.... Mom Just Wants a Nap. Most moms just want to relax for Mother's Day.  60% of moms say they'd trade Mother's Day gifts for the chance to take a nap.

Mother's Day is coming up fast, and if you haven't thought about what to get your mom in your life that's okay . . . because all you have to do is this. Give her the day off. Not part of the day not a few hours of the day. The whole dang day off.

Every single year, moms are asked what they want for Mother's Day, and they're pretty much always hinting at the same list of wants and needs. A nap, the day off of doing EVERYTHING single thing for the family . . . and of course handmade gifts and cards. Those gifts are priceless, and moms keep them forever.

In a new survey by PR News Wire, 94% of moms say they'd like to have more sleep, and half of all the moms said that "a nap with no one needing you" is the ultimate luxury.

The next-best "luxuries" being "Eating a meal while it's hot" . . . "not making any decisions" . . . and a "solo bathroom break." What a dream for our moms.

Over half of moms say they would happily trade all those gifts for the chance to catch some Z's. With almost two-thirds of moms said haven't had a nap in the last month . . . and a 25% of them can't remember the last time they napped! Pretty sad when you think about it, because naps are the best.

Yes, thoughtful gifts are nice, flowers and dinners out are appreciated, bonus family time is special, but nothing shows your appreciation for what moms do, more than DOING IT YOURSELF, so they can put their feet up.

Let mom rest. Buy her some flowers. Make her dinner or even take her out to her favorite local restaurant. (May want to make those reservations ASAP). Take her on a beautiful drive up the pass or even head to Yellowstone! Get her something special that is made in Montana like some local jams or some jewelry!  But most of all let her rest and then take her on an adventure. Happy Mother's Day to all you amazing moms!
